Our entire lives seems to be a chaotic mad rush with multitude of different goals that we strive to achieve constantly – either at the workplace or the home-front. To top it off, we are addicted to technology, spending too much times on gadgets.
This is where a slow and peaceful meditative practice becomes important, especially for the mind. I love the way the gentle session brings a beautiful sense of calm and serenity to the whole being.
Gentle Hatha is a slow and grounding practice with focus on improving flexibility through passive stretching, gravity and breath awareness. You can expect restorative, yin, gentle Hatha flow or a combination of these practices in our sessions.
We keep the mind focused on the breath and allow the body to release naturally. Ultimately, the aim is to relax and rejuvenate mind and body, soothe the nervous system, improve blood flow, digestion and sleep patterns.
Our Gentle Yoga sessions are done every Sunday morning at 6:30 am Dubai.The session begins with breath focused movements done slowly and mindfully to warm the body. Asanas are held for 3-5 minutes which in itself becomes meditative.
The slow movements, breath awareness, music and/or mantras create an overall relaxation , a deep sense of calm and wellbeing.
The class will be accessible to all. We use props for the practice.
